Redapto Raises $500K from Y Combinator

Redapto, a Bengaluru-based AI productivity startup founded in 2025, has raised $500,000 in a seed round led by Y Combinator, the legendary Silicon Valley accelerator that backed Airbnb, Dropbox, and Razorpay.

The all-equity round gives Redapto the coveted YC badge and entry into the current Winter 2025 batch (W25), making it one of only a handful of Indian startups selected this year.

Founded by Arjun Reddy (ex-Google DeepMind) and Aparna Tandon (ex-Atlassian & Microsoft), Redapto is building an AI-native “adaptive co-worker” that lives inside Slack, Teams, and Zoom. It silently joins meetings, captures context, generates perfect summaries, assigns action items, predicts delays, and even drafts follow-up emails in your exact tone – all without ever being asked twice.

Think of it as the world’s smartest intern who never sleeps, never forgets, and actually understands sarcasm.

The duo bootstrapped the MVP in just four months and already has 400+ paid teams across India, US, and Singapore – including early customers from unicorns like Zepto, Meesho, and two Fortune-500 companies under NDA. MRR has been doubling every 45 days since launch.

“Most AI tools today are fancy note-takers. We’re building something that literally thinks like a high-performing teammate,” says co-founder Arjun Reddy.

YC’s investment comes at a time when enterprise AI adoption is exploding but most solutions still feel bolted-on. Redapto’s edge? It learns each team’s unique workflow in under a week and adapts in real-time – no prompts, no training data uploads, no privacy nightmares.

The $500K will be used to:

  • 4X the engineering team before Demo Day
  • Launch native integrations with Notion, Linear, and Jira
  • Roll out enterprise-grade security and on-prem deployment options
  • Prepare for a $10M+ Series A immediately post-YC

Investors are already circling. Sources say at least three top-tier US funds have reached out for early access to the next round.

Redapto joins an elite list of Indian YC alumni that raised big follow-on rounds within months – think Razorpay ($160M post-YC), Meesho ($1B+), and Groww ($350M+). The playbook is clear: ship insanely fast, dominate the category, raise at 10-20X valuation in six months.

Remote and hybrid work isn’t going away. With 70% of knowledge workers reporting meeting fatigue and 40% missing deadlines due to poor context handoffs, Redapto is attacking a pain point worth billions.

YC’s Michael Seibel reportedly called the demo “the first AI tool that actually made me say wow in 2025.”

From a tiny 2-BHK in Koramangala to the YC stage in San Francisco – Redapto’s journey has just begun.
